In that time I have seen many traders come and go, and also gained a lot of experience. One of the key things that I have learned is that you can succeed in Forex if you have 2 things. The first is a good trading strategy, that you stick to with discipline. The second is an excellent broker. The reason that I have written this eToro review, is to help traders make a proper decision as to whether eToro is an excellent broker and whether it will be right for them. There are 5 key areas that need to be looked at when choosing a broker and they are how I have structured this eToro review 1. Low Minimum Account Opening and Trading Amounts. eToro offer traders the opportunity to trade their practice accounts for free. This is very important if you are new to Forex, or you would like to develop confidence and new trading strategies. Traders can start trading live with just and progress up from there. 2. Low spreads. This means effectively, how much it will cost to trade. If you are trading frequently the spread will soon start adding up, which is why it needs to be as low as possible. With eToro the spread goes down to just 2 pips on the EUR/USD pair, which is extremely good. 3.Instant Execution Of Orders. This is vitally important some Brokers will re-quote meaning that you …

The NYU College of Dentistry Hosts Conference to Spread Awareness of Sleep Apnea in Children

New York City, NY (PRWEB) October 04, 2012
The New York University (NYU) College of Dentistry will be hosting a sleep apnea awareness Conference, The Silent Airway Problem that Can Impact a Child’s Brain Development on October 6, from 8:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m., at 345 E. 24th St. in the Saklad Auditorium. The event is open to the public and will focus on the role of sleep in health, brain development, and well-being, from beginning to infancy. A question and answer session for the press will take place following the event at 6:00 p.m. One-on-one interviews are available in regards to this subject matter and study, upon request.
The Silent Airway Problem that Can Impact a Child’s Brain Development conference is part of the official launch of the American Association of Physiological Medicine and Dentistry(AAPMD). The AAPMD is an organization dedicated to studying the role of sleep disordered breathing (SDB), disturbed breathing in health, brain development and well-being. The conference will be a multidisciplinary symposium for physicians, dentists, healthcare practitioners, educators, and the public to take part in.
SDB is a general term for breathing difficulties that occur during sleep. The symptoms include snoring, which is usually accompanied by mouth breathing and sleep apnea. SDB reportedly peaks from two to six years of age, but also occurs in younger children and infants. According to the American Academy of OtolaryngologyHealth and Neck Surgery, About 1 in 10 children snore regularly and 2 to 4 percent have sleep apnea. The percentage of childrens mouth breathing and snoring is currently approaching 20 percent.
The goal of the AAPMD is to stimulate awareness and early care intervention for disturbed breathing issues in children, by holding events. The AAPMD is a multi-disciplinary group formed to build a bridge between physicians, dentists, other health care practitioners and the public to provide fuller, integrated care for children and adults, and focuses on issues relating to Sleep Disorders, Craniofacial Pain, Child Growth and Development, Chronic Inflammation and Sports and Academic Performance.
Bubble Foundation Announces Expansion of Free Nutrition and Fitness Programs For At Risk Children to Four New York City Charter Schools
New York, NY (PRWEB) September 06, 2012
Bubble Foundation, the 501(c)(3) organization that partners with New York City charter schools educating at risk children in underserved communities, is expanding its presence to four schools for the 2012 / 2013 academic year. The Bubble Foundation provides custom nutrition and fitness curricula at no cost to schools which lack the means to provide health and wellness programs to students.
Amy Nauiokas, Bubble Foundation Co-Founder said, Our Bubble (MOVES) and Bubble (EATS) programs complement and expand upon a charter schools current efforts, filling in gaps left by lack of funding, resources, or information. Through fun activities, learning adventures, and food programs, Bubble educates students about fresh, healthy eating and lifestyles that will transcend far beyond the classroom.
The Bubble curriculum will reach an estimated additional 500 K-5 students for the 2012/13 school year at area charter schools including DREAM Charter School in East Harlem, the Heketi Community Charter School in the South Bronx, the Neighborhood Charter School of Harlem, and PAVE Academy Charter School of Brooklyn.
New Bubble Foundation activities to be launched during the 2012-2013 school year include a classroom version of Whats On Your Plate, guest lectures from nutrition and fitness professionals, field trips to popular local restaurants and local organic farms, and urban gardening programs in both classrooms and the community.
Bubble works with each school to target and address the needs of the children it serves with custom programs, offered free of charge, that support specific school goals for a two year partnership. Together with Bubble, the schools build a foundation to implement and fund their own programs beyond the startup time period. More than 400 students have already participated in Bubble programs since its establishment in 2010.
Bubble programs are, above all, dynamic, said Nauiokas. We begin our relationship with each school by listening openly to the staff, administration, and children to understand the needs of their growing community. We feel that meaningful connections between food, family and community are even more powerful when children are involved in the meal process.
A successful two year partnership with Haven Academy in the South Bronx has led to the hiring of a full-time Registered Dietician, the launch of the schools wellness committee, and there are plans to bring on a full-time PE teacher.
After one year at Dream Charter School in Harlem, the administration has leveraged the Bubble program by implementing a new nutrition policy, effectively banning sweets from the campus. They have also asked Bubble to help plan for and advise on a new family-style cafeteria when their new school launches in 2013.
According to the Center for Disease Control, childhood obesity rates in America have tripled in the past thirty years. The New York Department of Health notes that obesity can begin very early in life. In New York City alone, 1 in 5 kindergarten children are obese, and nearly half of all elementary schoolchildren are not at a healthy weight.
“At Dream, we strive to provide the very best in educational opportunities for our students. Bubble has enabled us to offer the very best in nutrition programming, and has done so at no cost to our school or students. Our gratitude cannot be expressed,” said Eve Colavito, Principal of Dream Academy.
The Bubble Foundation is partnering with Barclays Nets Alliance Initiative to offer charter school programming in Brooklyn for the first time this fall.
In addition to its formal school programs, Bubble is offering students monthly cooking lessons through a partnership with Whole Foods Market’s Wellness Club in Tribeca. Other partners of Bubble Foundation include Harlem Seeds, Red Rabbit, Harlem RBI and Angelicas Kitchen.
This year we hope to attract additional donors to collaborate with us in funding our 2012/2013 programming, and to allow for new summer programming in the summer of 2013, said Amy Nauiokas. We also hope to expand our volunteer base, and bring additional community partners and sponsors during this school year.
Bubble Foundation is accepting applications from Charter Schools for the 2013/2014 school year. To learn more about Bubble, or to support its efforts, please visit the website http://www.welcometobubble.org.

The Pros & Cons of Labelling Children
The panel discusses what happens when we label kids. In the education system, it is necessary to identify a child as special needs before he or she can get help. But once the child is identified as gifted or dyslexic, how does that affect that child’s outcomes? And what about the less clinical labelling that happens – when kids are identified as anxious or artistic or sporty or disruptive or shy? How do these labels affect children’s perceptions of themselves, and the school’s expectations of them? For more go to TVOParents.com: tvoparents.com
Subtitled Special need kids talk about werewolves. For some odd reason they mention vampires and naked boys. Meh, as in the classic words of a retarded person I know “Nobody’s perfect.” (more)

Doctor Who | Series 2 | Children in Need (2005)
This is the copy of the film as seen in the Region 2 DVD of the Complete Second Series, and it varies from the TV transmitted version (for some reason), that can be found on the Region 1 DVD and also the Complete First Series box set. It’s fine, but the recap of “The Parting of the Ways” has changed, there is no cloister bell sound and the incidental music varies. I only own the Region 2 DVD… This special short episode of Doctor Who was originally broadcast on 18th November 2005, for Children in Need. Also called “Born Again”, the episode is the first outing (albeit small) for David Tennant as the Doctor, once again alongside Billie Piper as Rose, his companion. It seamlessly strings together the season finale and the upcoming Christmas special. All the copyright & credit belongs solely to the BBC and the Doctor Who production team. I only upload these videos so that people who do not have another means of watching them can do so. I do not claim any copyright or ownership of the content.
